Rahmat Maulana serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) of Puleh Indonesia, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability, renewable energy, and green technology innovation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Syiah Kuala University, specializing in Control Systems and the Internet of Things (IoT). Through extensive research and practical experience, Rahmat has showcased his ability to integrate smart technologies into renewable energy systems and sustainable agricultural practices that create direct social and environmental impact.
As a visionary leader, Rahmat embodies the core principles and competencies of a Chief Sustainability Officer at Puleh Indonesia; a strategic role responsible for leading corporate sustainability initiatives, optimizing energy efficiency, and driving carbon reduction across operations. His notable projects include the IoT-based Urban Farming System powered by solar energy and the Automated Greenhouse Farming System, both of which significantly enhanced agricultural productivity by over 90% while reducing water usage by 60%. Beyond their technological innovation, these initiatives have empowered local farmers through digital literacy training and sustainable technology adoption.
Rahmat’s leadership extends beyond technical innovation. He has served as Chairperson of the Robotic Electrical Engineering Community and has participated in numerous national and international programs. His achievements include being awarded 2nd Place in the Outstanding Student Award at Syiah Kuala University (2024), 1st Place in the Faculty of Engineering Innovation Competition (2023), and ranking in the Top 10 of the Indonesia International IoT Olympiad (2023). He was also selected as an Awardee of the SINERGI XL Future Leaders Program (2023). Additionally, his IoT Urban Farming technology has been officially patented by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Indonesia.
